I'm working on an iBook G4 with 10.3.9 and lately, more often than not, when I turn on my airport it displays (after "getting status") a message saying "connecting to ISP which does not connect and cannot be cancelled unless I turn the airport off again.
Normally it should say "dialing modem" after giving me the option of connecting which occasionally it does.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with my connection or phone line and I looked through network setting to see if anything was changed and it doesn't appear to have.
When I googled the question I did find people who have asked the same question with no suggestions other than to check their phone lines.
Please, pretty please help.
