A few weeks ago now the hard disk in my iBook G4 died, forcing me to replace it and re-install the operating system. Everything (seemed) to go fine.
Today, however, when I tried to use my iBooks bluetooth functionality I found that even with bluetooth on and set to discoverable people could not 'see' me. Later when I checked in the bluetooth system preferences I found that my device name is 'Name not available' and that I was also unable to see any devices in the same room as me (while my phone could see many).
Does anyone know what I can do to troubleshoot this?
