Cannot open iPhoto after upgrade to 10.4

Hi there,

I am not a computer wizard, and at 60 find all this computer jargon confusing.

My trouble I have a Mac OS X which was on 10.3.9 this has been upgraded to 10.4.11 now for some reason iPhoto will not work, my photos are there my daughters found them, but I cannot open iPhoto so consequently i cant get the library to view all my photos at the same time.

Obviously i have done something wrong or I have to load something else to make it work.

Please help
 
What version of iPhoto are you using? It may be that if it is older, it is not compatible with 10.4 and you may need to upgrade iPhoto.
