CD Burning Problem Duplicate images different Names

I have had several complaints about this but I cant figure it out.

Problem:
While burning a cd of "image" (jpeg nef crw raw) files, the cd will look like it burned as per normal but, only the first image is burned to the cd. All the other "images" are exactly like the first one, even though the name will change.

i.e.
The files The Cd
image001.jpg image001.jpg
image002.jpg image001.jpg
image003.jpg image001.jpg
image004.jpg image001.jpg

It will span the entire cd (which can be 300+ images lost)

The problem happens intermittently too so I haven't been able to pin down where it is. It also has happened on several different computers (G5s Emacs primarily), all have OSX 10.4.2

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there are any solutions to this.

Thanks,
Parke

It sounds like you're using a "burn folder" to burn these images, no? I want to say I heard of something like this happening when using burn folders.

If so, try making a Disk Image (.DMG) of the images with Disk Utility, then use Disk Utility to burn the DMG to a CD-R and see if that helps.
