chat

The included chat software in Mac OSX is called "iChat" and you can find it in the Applications folder. This accesses the AOL Instant Messenger network (otherwise known as AIM).

There are lots of different chat programs you can install, to access lots of different chat networks. Some of the networks include IRC (Internet Relay Chat), MSN, AOL, Yahoo, Jabber, and ICQ.

As well as this, there are lots of websites that have a chat system built in. Your best bet is to go to http://www.google.com and type "chat" and whatever it is you want to chat about into the search box. You'll get lots of good places to chat about that thing. For instance, typing "chat computers" and you'll find places to talk to people about computers.

how can i chat?

With a chat program? :D

Just kidding. You might want to let us know a little more about what system you want to use to chat (AIM, Y!M, MSN, ICQ, etc.) and one what Mac and what operating system.

You could also just get into the chatroom on this forum. When you click to get to the forum listings, just look for a link at the top called "Online Chat". You'll need Adobe Flash Player installed though.
