Cingular V551 - iSync 2

I've read in these posts that iSync 2 (Tiger) now works with a Motorola v551 (Cingular). But it doesn't work for me... It can find the phone, but it says, maddeningly, 'This device is not supported by iSync'.
As this was one of the main reasons I bought Tiger, it's really annoying...

Which interface are you using? Bluetooth or USB? Did you try both?

Only bluetooth -- that was part of the fun of buying tiger... I don't have a USB cable for this phone. Is that the problem?

There is some discussion on Apple boards about having to edit the plist to enable support for the 551.
