Erase CD-RW without admin password

We have several eMacs running OS X.2.2, which we have set up with an admin account, as well as a regular user account. The users will not have access to the admin password. Is there a way to erase a CD-RW without having to enter the admin password in Disk Utility? Is there another utility they could use that didn't require administrative rights? Thanks in advance!
