Ave,
I have two hard drives in my PowerMac G5 - One has Leopard (10.5) on it and one has Panther (10.3.9) on it. I dragged my folders that were on Panther onto my Leopard hard drive.
Now all those folders have screwed up permissions. Anytime I edit a file, it's either locked or I have to authenticate it.
Is there a way to fix the permissions on these folders? I already ran Disk Utility's fix permissions - it didn't even touch those folders.
Basically I think the user/group on files on Leopard should be myurs:staff but it's showing as 501:admin.
Thanks!
