Flash Websites Run Slow on Mac

Has it been anyone's experience here that Flash based web sites run slowly in flash. Even Macromedia's new site is clunky as H*&L.

Anyone with the same problem?

Macromedias site blows on my Mac. Havent tried in on a PC yet though.

on safari it runs much more smooth than on IE/Camino/iCab/...

just alittle reality check update. SIX YEARS LATER after the original post and WTF?

why do flash sites still blow / suck / crap the big one on macintosh?
Why the frak is there still such crappy sh*tty problems between flash sites and macs?

for example: ordering a fricking pizza via camino on the dominos or pizza hut site takes as long as it does for the fracking thing to be delivered.

what the frak?!!!!!

who is the culprit here? adobe? apple? browser developers? I would really like to know.

MEANWHILE : I HATE FLASH SITES!!!!!!!!

I think there are two issues for you

1. The Mac version of Flash has always been obscenely slow. Blame Adobe.

2. Camino has issues that make Flash performance especially poor. This is supposedly fixed in the current nightly development builds. For now, Safari and Firefox offer better performance.
