please help. there are folders displayed along with Inbox in my Mail.app. Those are basically every folder in my home directory. Is there a way to get rid of them but still displaying the mail folders (Inbox, Sent, Junk...)

thanks

I'm not sure I understand your problem. These folders, are they indented & listed underneath your inbox? Or are they in the list underneath your sent, trash, & junk icons. Either way, if you have extra folders you don't use, just Control+Click on the folder and select "Delete".

If that's not helping, then perhaps you could describe your problem a little more clearly? Thanks

Hi

thanks for replying my message.

those are system folders in my home directory. example: .cshrc, .DS_Store, .gnupg,Applications,Archives,... and so on. They are apearing under Inbox, Drafts,Sent,Trash and Junk.
First, I don't want to remove them. I just don't want them to apear in my folder list in Mail.app

It is strange that Mail seems to think that they are mail folders... For example, I can open .bash_history in Mail.app.

thanks again
