Getting the most out of a Power Mac G4 450?

1) Upgrade to Panther. Immediately.

5) 1 GB RAM is plenty, but you can put two gigs in there and it won't suck.

I was looking at the Radeons the other day, and it seems that they no longer sell the 8500 or the 9000, leaving just the 7000 (PCI) or the 9800 (AGP).
Granted the 9800 is an awesome card (I've been drooling over one for a while, but can't justify it yet as my GeForce4 Ti is still doing the trick), but would be a little overkill and costly. I did find a place that has it for around $300.00 shipped.
If the 9800 is out of your price range, maybe you could pick up a 8500 or 9000 through e-bay or locally.
