help finding virtual desktop/terminal emulator

I am looking for an app that is similar to Hummingbird (for windows).
It would allow you to log into a (in this case) solaris system. You would then be presented with a "window" containing the solaris desktop (gui not command line).

I've been looking for something like this for a few weeks now without any luck.
Anyone have any suggestions.

Thanks,
David

With XDarwin you can do that but only full screen, not in a seperate window, basically the X server will take over the screen completely and you won't see an aqua stuff, and a keybinding will switch you back to aqua.

If you are going to Solaris that is just normal vanilla X11 just go grab Apples X11 beta at http://www.apple.com/macosx/x11/ and you will be good to go. All that Hummingbird is is an X server for Windows.

Apple's X11 server doesn't do full screen, he wants to have the entire desktop from the Solaris box including the Window manager/etc. Apple's X11 server only displays individual windows.

Thanks for all the responses.
I've tried X11 and can't get it to work (I have run it for 2 years on Linux) correctly.
I'll look into vnc.

Thanks,
David
