Hiding a FW volume

I have a firewire hd attached to my powerbook. I use this to store and transport sensitive files. I am the admin account but I don't want certain other accounts to be able to mount this volume - how can I stop this without reformatting?

Is there a system option or does it require a 3rd party.

Don't mind if it involves a p/w to access it

Can't you just adjust the permissions, like any other volume?

Click on the drive's icon and get info (Cmd-I). Open the Permissions tab and set read, write and execute privileges only to yourself (not to any other users or groups on the computer).
