How to make global change to OSX firewall?

We have about 200 Macs running various versions of Panther and Tiger.

We use ARD to audit and control etc these machines.

I am looking for a way to make a change to the OSX firewall on each machine without having to connect to each machine individually. I wondered if there was any way to make a global change to them perhaps by way of using a template or deploying a script ?

If there is no way to make a global change then perhaps it could be done via command line so the user does not even notice (via SSH ???)

Any help / suggestions/ advice would be greatly appreciated.

Are you looking for a specifically Apple solution, if not then ssh is your friend and this is just standard Unix Admin 101. The firewall is a traditional BSD ipfw firewall and you can just ssh to each machine to change the firewall rules.

Hi gandalf01, we have a product, maybe it's suitable for your requirement.
We can control the Mac setting by a Window Active Directory. If any interesting, you can contact me:littlegraph2004@yahoo.com
