OK, I've got like 30,000 photos of female celebrities on an external drive that I want to import into iPhoto 6. The photos are sorted into folders by letter, and then by Full Name. For example:
A/Alanis Morissette
A/Amber Tamblyn
B/Bianca Kajlich
B/Britney Spears
I have already imported a few folders, but it's rather time-consuming to create a new keyword (the celeb's name) and then create a new smart album based on the keyword. Surely there must be some way for a script to create a keyword for each photo based on the name of the parent folder? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.
