iPhoto slideshow only exporting first song in playlist

I've created a slideshow and have created a playlist in iTunes. I tell iPhoto slideshow to use that playlist and to manage the length of the slideshow to match the length of the music (I've tried it the other way also), but it will only play the first song in the playlist and leave the rest of the slideshow audio empty, but will make it the proper length.

OSX 10.4.3
iPhoto 5.0.4

Any ideas? I've recreated the playlist and the slideshow a couple of times now.
 
In the meantime, I have exported the slideshow into Quicktime, imported it into iMovie, then dragged the audio clips onto the audio channel in iMovie. Worked like a champ; I would rather use iPhoto & iDVD together instead of jerking around with iMovie and iTunes. I tried a small slideshow with only two songs...worked like a champ. Slideshow with the problem has about 130 slides and 9 songs. Oh well, wasted time, but now the job is done.
