I am trying to find a way to have iPhoto rotate a thumbnail preview without rotating the original. As a photographer I would like to maintain the integrity of my original image and not have iphoto make a duplicate of it into the "Originals folder". Is it possible to simply rotate the thumbnail and have the original stay in the standard folder structure?
If not, anyone who uses iPhoto must be as annoyed by this feature as I am.
Please write to Apple and request an option to "Do not rotate original when rotating thumbnail".
If Apple does not have a means of doing this, is it something that can be done through scripting?
