Any time I save a picture to iPhoto all that happens is: iPhoto starts with the message: uploading photos, the spinning wheel starts and eventually I get the application unexpectedly quit message. I tried updating iPhoto and get the message that a valid iPhoto application cannot be located yet iPhoto is in my applications folder.
I get the same message for Garage Band when trying to download a new update for the garage band jam pack through the updates window (the message is that Garage Band.app cannot be located, yet it is in the applications folder).
I use: iMac, G5, 1.8GHZ, 512RAM, 17", 160GB HD w/250GB La Cie HD, 17" View Sonic external monitor
