JPG's and Safari

How come images appear darker in Safari than Explorer when I am using the same color. Here is an example. Any solutions? Thanks!

The menu bar "contact" is darker green.

Safari respects embedded color profiles in images -- try re-saving/exporting the image without an embedded color profile.
