Keyboard sound volume control-snow leopard

installed sl this sat. am-very good install-some small tweaks and updates---
I can't figure out-REMEMBER-how to get the keyboard control for volume to work-it worked fine in leopard.
Anyone got the hint or cure-thanks - Dickster-------

Just figured part of it out--sound control-up and down works- just don't have clicking noise when pressing keys

Do you still need help to get that clicking noise? Because, really, I consider you very lucky.
