Does anybody know the future of Adobe LiveMotion?

If they were continuing with the typical release dates, version 3 should be out soon, but I'm afraid that Adobe has pulled the plug on it.

It disappeared from the Adobe Web Collection about a two months ago.

I really liked the AE interface, but found the scripting a liitle cumbersome.

Would like to know if 3 is on the way, if anybody knows. Thanks,

I truly believe it is a goner...

I was an author for a book series being done on LiveMotion.. It was pulled due to the uncertain future of LM.

The major developers on the LM team, have left Adobe to go to MS and other companys. The remaining team has been shuffled around to other projects.

There is no development work going on at all, and none planned for the future. I believe Adobe is planning on letting it stagnate like so many of their other programs (Dimensions streamline, Imagestyler, etc..)

No kidding. I hate Flash(and every other macromedia product). LiveMotion was so easy to use. this is a bloody shame!
 
whoa. How did I post with my outlawed name? Oh well. Anyway... LiveMotion is a great app. Guess I will have to go out and buy some Flash books. :(
