I have had a lot of problems with my MAC these last few weeks and I am not sure I managed to thank all who have so kindly tried to help in the many forums I have visited. Please accept my apologies
As a last resort I had to format and reinstall OS X.
This radical treatment put back the computer to work with one exception:
The following message shows up when I try to receive or send mail
".Mac server mail.mac.com rejected the password for user syrose
(that's me). I am positively certain that I have always used the same password and have never tried to alter it.
Could this be because I chose not to join yet ".mac" after the initial trial period?
Please I need step-by-step guidance with this issue.
