MPEG4 to MP3 (Music only)

Hey !

Can anybody help ??

I have some wonderful video files in MPEG4 format and would like to import the sound into ITunes...can anybody suggest a way of doing this ...cheaply !!

you can do this through itunes by putting the file in to itunes selecting it and ctrl+ clicking it and click convert to mp3

It is worth noting that before you can convert it to mp3 you have to have the import option in the preferences set to import as mp3. If you import as acc, then the only option available for conversion is to acc.

I'm posting this because it took me some time to figure this out and it seems that the next fellow that reads this post can save some time by fixing it immediately.

That's AAC, not ACC. (Advanced Audio Coding.)

ffmpegX will convert audio from movie files to mp3 format.
