Newton Questions

My girlfriend just bought a Newton 120, and I have to say that I am very impressed. Alone with the handwriting recognition. It is perfect. I figured it wouldn't be as good as the PocketPC because the PocketPC would have had more time to advance, but that definately isn't the case. But I was wondering, is there any way to get it to sync with her Powermac G4 tower? I remember reading about a few ways, but I don't remember where they were.

Glad you've chosen a GOOD PDA. ;-)

A great starting point would be http://www.everchanging.com/newton/ ... They do NewtSynch for Mac OS X. You'll also need a serial2usb adapter. I'd read that site to find out which one to get. I guess a Keyspan adapter will do.

My dad had a newton, it was awesome, he still uses it i think. For a class im taking i made Apple's new tablet the iNewton, check it out. The keyboard come out of the bottom. Eventually (next week) it is going to be a java applet in 3D that you can spin around and do other little animations too as well.
