No water effect, dashboard?

I just installed tigers, I have no water effect when dropping a new widget on the background. Anyone else having this problem or anyone know how it could be fixed?

Upgrade your video card to get those effects. Only solution as the system uses the video card to render it.

The water effect requires CoreVideo support which requires a pretty high end video card. Don't recall which ones off hand, but iirc the minimum is a Radeon 9600.
