Can someone please post information on the best way to get a Win2k server and an OSX client to play nicely together?
We have an office of Macs, hoping to migrate all to OSX and 3 different Win2k Servers. (The option of upgrading to Xservs just doesn't exist).
The current issue I am having is a periodic dropping of the server connections.
What are the necessary settings in Directory services to help with the proper connection?
Also, I have read that making the connection via SMB rather than Appletalk or AFP can be problematic(i.e. corrupt files and such). It would be nice to get away from having to use Mac Services on the Windows servers.
Will a better option be to wait to see what Panther has to offer?
