After upgrading to Mac OS X 10.4.9, the Belkin 1100VA UPS which is connected via USB and usually always seen after login (causing the usual UPS power level icon in the top right to appear) is no longer seen after logging in. Instead every time you do something that requires you to login again (such as shutting down or rebooting) the UPS is forgotten about after logging in again (the usual UPS power icon in the top right does not appear) until the USB connection to the UPS is removed and reinserted which always causes Mac OS X to see the UPS again until one must login again. The normal behavior occurs in 10.4.8 and below. Anyone else experiencing this issue?
