when i try to partition my disk in boot camp it come up with a message saying

''The disk cannot be partitioned because some files cannot be moved. Back up the disk and use disk utility to format it as a single Mac OS Extended (journaled) volume.restore your information to the disk and try using boot camp again.''

I opened up disk utility but couldn't figure out what exactly what it wanted me to do. Please could you help!!

What you need to do is backup everything onto an external hardrive using a program like superduper or carboncopy cloner.
Then reformat your hardrive, meaning startup your computer with the instalation disk and use disk utility to erase your hard drive (Before you erase, go to security options and choose Zero-Out Data!!) , and reinstall your OS, then restore everything with your backup.

You should google guides on how to backup everything and how to reformat/erase your hard drive for better instructions, but we're here if you have any problems.
I actually just went through the same thing a week ago.
