Nah, I did mine in blue once, but changed it back because the white is a little easier on the eyes. I've still got the little slip of cellophane in my drawer though...
If you want to do this (and I should point out that you should take extreme care and it may void your warranty) use an allen key of the correct guage to remove the four screws holding on the cover over the display. Remove the cover carefully, making sure not to snap the clips at top and bottom of display. Put a 10cm square slip of coloured cellophane over the apple-logo and use a bit of clear tape to hold it securely in place. Replace the cover, carefully of course, and voila!

Did mine with an old rainbow sticker I had lying around...missed the `ol style logo. Might redo it later on using a piece of printed transparency...depends on if I find the time or not.
Also thought about looking for a cheap 500mhz or so one to do a full mod to...removal of all the white paint for a "Nugent" style one.
