restore addressbook data

Hi,

This weekend I lost a great deal of data trying to sync my bluetooth phone and addressbook with isync.

Fortunatly on Friday I backed up my entire user directory to an external harddrive that I keep in my office.

I need to know how to restore my addressbook information to exactly as it was before the accident.

Hi,

in the external hard drive,

[your user main home] / Library / Application Support / AddressBook

copy that folder to the same location on your home folder of the Mac, while AddressBook is not running.

You can also in future use the Backup command of AddressBook .. very good that you had a backup!

Now I just need to figure out how to get everything synced properly.
