Safari, flash, iBook

Is it just me or is flash slow for every body? My 800mhz ibook with 640mb of ram has a heart attack every time i view a flash website, cpu usage totally maxes out and everything tanks. On my brothers crappy emachines 500 mhz p3 running win xp on 192mb of ram it runs the same page fine without even take that big of a cpu hit.

what's the deal? Is there just poor flash support or what?

Flash is crap under OS X. Runs magnitudes of order slower than under OS 9 or Windows. Always has.

So does any one have a suggest browser for flash?

It's not really the browser at all, it's the Flash plugin from Macromedia.

WTG macromedia. I wish that this wasn't a big problem but it seems that these days everyone wants to create an annoying flash website.

I don't know if helps. Probably not. I haven't had a chance to install it yet as the installer just hangs pretty much.
