safari quits w/ many websites

I'm not sure if this is where I should post this question but I just got my macbook up and running again...
However, almost every website I go to safari quits and closes the page.....with myspace, last.fm, lookbook.nu......and youtube is a huge jumbled mess.

What can I do???

incompatible plugin, java or corrupted cookies or cache. It ranges from there

1. reset safari
2. Move the com.apple.safari.plist to the desktop then restart your safari

Go to system preferences/accounts. Add another user with admin privileges for testing. Log out of your existing account and into the test account. Launch Safari. If it works download and install Onyx http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/system_disk_utilities/onyx.html.

Run the cleaning utilities, especially the user cleanup. Reboot when asked. Log back into problem account ->test safari.
