Subtitles on a Mac

Hi,

How can I create subtitles on a Mac. I've tried somewhere but I simply cannot find a good software. I used to use on a PC SubRio, but for macs I really dont know. I want specially to put them on my videos and on my DVDs I am creating...

Any help will be highly appreciated,

I used imovie for this task, although its not a elegant solution. Use the text effect "subtitles". You may have to cut your movie in several parts in order to use this effect more than once.

If you got a new machine than imovie should be already preinstalled on your mac. Otherwise its included in ilife 2006.
