Sometimes the cd/dvd doesnt get ejected when requested.

I suspect that this has happened when i have been using Toaster 7. but am not very sure about this.

This is a very serious issue as i have to restart my mac in order get it out.. and i do photo editing and all the stuff has to be tunrned on and off.

Help will be very much appreciated.

Does the drive even spin up when you try to eject the disk? I ask this because something mechanical could be going on the drive.

Also I have found that sometimes a simple procedure of resetting your PRAM may help in some drive problems in OS X.
