Sometimes the cd/dvd doesnt get ejected when requested.

I suspect that this has happened when i have been using Toaster 7. but am not very sure about this.

This is a very serious issue as i have to restart my mac in order get it out.. and i do photo editing and all the stuff has to be tunrned on and off.

Help will be very much appreciated.

Generally, it's about when there's still some file opened from the CD/DVD. Also, if you're in the path of the medium in Terminal, though.
