iLife '06 is a Universal Disc which will work on intel and powerpc. My question is:

does any body know if the "Universal Disk" basically mean 2 images of installation? or is it acctually 1 binary of iLife which will work on both intel and powerpc.

Say I have x86 imac with iTunes, and just drag the application onto my PowerG5 and it will work. ????

Yes.

If you notice, the latest iTunes and QuickTime that were made available yesterday are universal binaries.

That I'm not sure, but considering the size of hard drives now it shouldn't be too much to worry about. Not like the days of "fat" binaries during the 68K/PPC switch.
