Using a Floating Window in Safari

Does anyone know a way (script, add-on, etc.) to create a floating window in safari, just for everyday use (i.e. not webdesign). The reason is I'd like to be able to have a movie/show playing in one smaller floating window, and still be able to browse but still see my movie/show. Thanks!!

Can't you just create a new window, open the movie file of your choice (so that the Quicktime plugin plays the movie), then resize the window to the proper size? Why couldn't you play the video in a Quicktime window while you're browsing the internet?

Maybe I'm not understanding what you're trying to do... can you elaborate?

Afloat works like a charm, and is exactly what I was going for, thank you!!

For clarification for others, I want to be able to watch shows/movies in a smaller window, but still be able to click on another larger window to browse the web (actually Afloat makes any window float over windows of all apps, not just safari) but keep the smaller one 'floating' so I can still watch on the side of my screen.
