Weird graphic (System Preferences) & cursor

Lately my Sharing system preference has gone all strange (see the picture attached). Also, my cursor no longer has a shadow under it and resembles that of OS 9. Any ideas on how to fix both of my problems?

Do you have the developer tools installed? If so, open up Quartz Debug and see if Quartz Extreme is disabled for some reason. That's the only thing that should affect the cursor shadow.

Have you taken any troubleshooting steps yet, like repairing permissions or rebooting? Couldn't hurt. If that doesn't work, you could try cleaning out various caches with something like OnyX.

Try deleting the file ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.preferencepanes.cache to see if it helps.
