XDarwin, WindowMaker, and Fonts

I have installed XDarwin, WindowMaker, The Gimp, and OpenOffice and all seem to work well (OSX 10.2.2) However...

I have noticed that the full set of Fonts which I see in "normal" OSX Applications don't seem to have made to the XDarwin environment. Certainly, The Gimp and OpenOffice don't see any fonts other than the ones they themselves brought with them on the install.

Can anyone tell me how to get my full OSX font set into the picture?

(Simple answers, please, I am a complete UNIX rookie!!) :)
 
Simple answer is: you can't.

The X window environment is completely seperate from Aqua/Quartz. X uses it's own fonts which are not compatable with what OS X uses. Altho, there are ways to get TrueType fonts to work in X, it can be a real pain.
