Soundtrack, from FCP, will be released as a stand alone product as well....

Though a bit high of a price ($299), this is great news. One of the holes on the Mac platform was in a competitor to Acid, which can create quality soundloops quickly and easily. Soundtracks lead engineer is actually a former SoundForce employee who was responsible for Acid, so I believe the project is in good hands....

Oh sweet! I've been using Soundtrack (a naughty copy, yes) for the past couple days and it is one extremely sweet app. I'm not an audio guy, so I don't know if I'll pay $300 for it, but I have been hoping they release it on its own!
