It is grapic card chip. Well known problem of this series of MBP. Fixing it is pretty unexpensive, lucky me.

Non of the tips work. Screen stays black.....DVD can not be ejected anyhow. I thinks both fans are ON and as normal.

My eSata hard disk wend dead, crashed all of the sudden. It was for the media files only. I tryed to recover all the files with Data Rescue 3 and I was somehow sucessful. At least it appeard to be that way. But it wasn't. I recovered all the files...all the files are as big as they were before...

I burned Audio DVD with my PowerMac Dual 1Ghz, SuperDrive 8x and Toast 6.0.7 yesterday. Now I am trying to do that with TiBook 1GHz, SuperDrive and Toast 6.0.7 but I cant find "DVD Audio" option. Why is that? thanks for help
