I am running WindowShadeX, and yes QT6.3 but haven't seen the problem in a few days.
Seeing that Apple makes the 'whole widget', I would suggest that it is APE that is incompatible with QuickTime, not the other way around.
I get 4 Ping of Death entries in my router log when I log in to iChatAV. Looks like it only happens when I start iChat, not when logging out and back in without quitting.
My router is listing Ping of Death messages, seems it happens when using iChat AV beta. Anyone have any details on this? It's not alot of packets. Sent from my internal ip to an ip outside my network. Don't know if it's an AIM server or not.
Tks,
I've had this in 10.2.6, very random behavior. I haven't seen it in the last 2 days since I turn off all of my auto-login items. (Konfab, VirtualDesktop, Net Monitor, and HenWen/LetterSticker.)
Nope, just running a few add-ons and haven't seen this until very recently. It's pretty hit-or-miss. I just want to make sure there's no major problem happening.
My TiBook 1GHz with 10.2.6 seems to be runing just fine, but something strange has started happening. When ctrl-clicking on the Finder icon in the Dock, it says "Finder Not Running." Also, there's no black triangle below it to indicate that it's running. Logging out/in does nothing...
It doesn't look like PostgreSQL is listed in the software available through Fink. Does anyone know where to get it? I had a version installed awhile ago, but I *think* it's not compatible somehow with Fink.
Tks,
The iChat help suggests that all I need is a .mac address on my end, and that my full .mac email address is used to connect to AIM users. Am I misunderestimating something here?
OK so do you need .Mac to use iChat. I tried it with a friend on AOL awhile ago and couldn't get it to work. She has no .Mac and I have no AOL. What do we need to get it to work?
Safari has autofill. I recently began entering my first name into a form and it auto-completed. I hit tab, and it filled in Middle, Last, Address, City, State (popup), Zip, Phone and Email fields for me. Worked just fine!
