I like many others have had the Disappearing Classic
Problem. And I have a fix (well it worked for me)
boot in to Classic (not though X) and simple trash your prefs. (put them in a folder somewhere)
When you go back to X and boot up Classic, It thinks
its the first time its been run and...
Help im suck in X ..
I can open classic from within X but I cant get back to
native classic.
Every time I open the Start Up module from the System
Preferences is just bombs out.
No error just quitely closes..
Its the same if I login as root or any user..
Any ideas anyone ?

you need to update your AppleShare client so you can share your 8.6 Mac via ip.

as for seeing the OSX mac in the chooser, as I've been told some where on this site, osx does not support appleshare yet.. as in appering in the chooser.

Why cant I see my OSX machine in the chooser of mac's on my network, After I HAVE truned File Sharing ON (on the OSX mac).
