Possibly linked to my previous internet connection utility. In my partner's environment (her user partition of our Mac), the diagnostic tool pops up regularly. I use disk utility to repair permissions every so often, but it's not saying there is any problem.

My parter and I have separate identities on our Mac (Panther system). When she tries to log on to the internet, the Connect button never works first time. She has to click it, then it thinks she's disconnecting, then she has to click again. It's annonying. Any ideas?
