I'm trying to do an install/restore on an iBook but it freezes. the apple logo comes up and then shifts a bit to the right, and there are 2 random blocks that appear.
It's been doing that all afternoon and i really need to get it installed because i'm trying to sell it.

why not search for print templates (amstore.co.uk used to have them but i cant seem to find them anymore), download the PDF/EPS and edit in photoshop/Illustrator?

Somehow, i think the airport card on my macbook has died.
I'm running 2 home networks, and neither seem to work anymore. One network is picked up but refuses to connect to the net, the other, just wont do anything.
I cant get into the software update thing to see if there is anything new...

up until now, i've always found mac help difficult to come by, - mac users tend to look down on anyone who uses an OS other than X, so i'm glad that i came here and got help and advice rather than snobbish comments and the usual 'bad mouthing' about XP.

i was hoping you wouldnt say that. I took a look in the disk management today and the unallocated space is only a few hundred MB, which means i'll have to start again. it's no big deal, i've got nothing installed on it anyway.
