Hi Bob, Got door open by holding down mouse(found on macfixit).I only have Jaguar but it booted and I am using disk utility to verify/repair. Thanks to all who answered my cry for help

Thanks Bob, I can open the door but there is no place to insert a clip of any sort no pin hole or no relief hole I can see.

I cannot get anywhere. I get the folder with question mark. After trying holding the option key I get a screen with 2 arrow Icons, neither which will go anywhere. CD try will not open. I can't get to any part of !0. Thanks Keith

Sorry, Its a G-4 Tower. It was given to me by a friend. I do not know if the drivers were installed. I just assumed that I would be able to do as I had in the past with my 9600. It wasn't broke and I fixed it. Thanks for the help, I can't tell you much more. Keith

I tried both suggestions. Using the X key I get the same folder with a question mark. Booting with the option key gives me a screen with two icons, one arrow pointing left one with circular arrow. Both go nowherw except the time clock appaers. Thanks again for the suggestions. Any other...

G-4 desktop running panther. I tried to load a classic system OS-9 bu changing the startup disc to the OS-9 disc. I now get only a question mark. How can I get around this.
