Just recently, when I open my emails, (using Mac Mail, OSX 10.4.10) the text of the message is flush to the left side and the bottom scroll bar is gone so I can't realign it. Have any suggestions?

I am wanting to free up memory on my machine and have old software I am no longer using. Specifically, the apps are Photoshop 6.0 & Illustrator 8.0. I am using OSX 10.3.9. How do I find all of the little "pieces" that are put in the system from these apps?
