i am running mac os 10.0.4 on a g4 powerbook. i have been using pppoe now over 6 months (since beta days) and was doing great... until i upgraded to mac os 9.2.1 a couple of days ago - maybe it is only a coincidence.
now, when i try to connect i never get further then the "Connecting PPP...
i compile with apxs -c mod_jserv.c jserv*.c but nevertheless i get some warnings, and after adding in httpd.conf the include tomcat-apche.conf apache tries to load mod_jserv.so and i get the follwoing error:
API module structure 'jserv_module' in file mod_jserv.so is garbled - perhaps this is...
i installed the tomcat and compiled the mod_jserv.so, but i get some warnings. the result is that when apache starts it gives me an API not properly defined in mod_jserv.so
did you manage to get it all working with apache?
i am having the same problem: all works fine from os x. i do not have any network settings set, since i am working at home, and ppp is fine. but from my classic environment i either get server not found (ie 5) or it rties to dial (oe 5).
what do i have to set in the ppp settings?

i have a powerbook lombard (bronze key) with a 4 gb drive. i have partitioned the drive as follows: first partition with mac os 9 and reserved the second partition as a hpfs+ volume for the mac os x. can i install mac os x on the second partition/volume? will i have to format the whole disk...
