Recently upgraded to Tiger, and now InDesign files recognize only the Epson print options. System tells me AdobePS 6.2 is not supported. How can I bypass the Epson print dialog and get back to former extended print options?

Part of an Apple thingie called "SunSphere" found its way into my trash, and now nothing--and I've tried just about everything--will let me remove it or empty the trash. Since there's nothing of value in the trash, is there some ultimate emptying technique? I'll watch for suggestions. Thanks

Option/Control/Command-8 gives me a reversed grayscale screen. Is there a keyboard command to convert to regular grayscale? That would be neat.

I run InDesign on OSX, and TypeReunion is recognized there. I'll see if Excel will recognize it, but I suspect Microsoft simply didn't remember (or care) to enable ATR when they issued OfficeX.

Cocoa and Carbon are not the problem. Adobe Type Reunion seems to work with all apps there. Older versions of Word recognize ATR, too; it's just WordX that won't cooperate.

It's distressing that Microsoft's WORD-X does not recognize Adobe's Type Reunion. Is there any other way to create heirarchical font menus in WORD-X?

OS-X overrides the dialog box for my Epson printer. Is there some way to disregard X's admonition (in InDesign) and continue to use the simple but effective printer dialog that I continue to find when using Pagemaker in Carabon?

Pagemaker 7 works fine for me under OS-X 10.3.3, but . . . the application consistently fails to recognize data files when I attemtp to merge data in order to print envelopes. Has anyone had (and hopefully resolved) this problem?
