3 hours !!! Well eventually that will go down to 15 minutes like my old ibook (less if using the internet). Enjoy it while it lasts ! Batteries are to expensive to replace so I just leave it plugged in now.
anyone know if OS10 supports serial modems (specifically swann external ones)? I have a beige g3 powermac running jaguar. All I can find is stuff about USB modems and I cant find any mention of OS10 drivers on the swann website either. What other options do I have; are there any cheap internal...
Its not much help in fixing your problem but you are right, stickies should open again where they were placed when you last quit stickies, at least on my 'puter; I've just tested it to make sure!
there's no preference for remembering their last location, it just does - or not in your case.
I have an old powermac g3 beige with 10.2 installed. I recently changed the pram battery as it was not remembering the correct date and time. Thought i'd fixed as it seemed ok but now it forgets the time again. Would this be the battery or something else, as it was a new battery. Funny thing is...
There is a need for saving pages or Internet Explorer would not have the VERY useful 'scrapbook' feature which is quick and easy to use. Is Microsoft breaking the law by having this feature ? The save as pdf feature is all very well but as I said before its not a webpage, is slow and its not...
yeah your right, no acrobat needed; you just hit print - save as PDF. looks ok in preview too - better that ac reader. but its not a functioning web page (links etc) which is what you should be able to have if you want.
A PDF version is not the same thing. Having to open another app (acrobat) takes ages as well. It seems Safari can't save complete webpages properly then. Thats pathetic. If Internet explorer can, why can't Safari do it?
Help, I can't save complete web pages with safari 1.0. They do not include everything, only text and the basic layout ie no icons/graphics etc. Is there a way of setting up safari to save complete pages like IE or is it supposed to be like this. I know you can use bookmarks but pages can be...
anyone know how to stop safari widows from jumping to the top of the screen all the time when they are moved around. they don't always do this and sometimes they stay put. there doesn't appear to be a pattern to this and quitting/relaunching safari doesnt help. has anyone else noticed this.
Can you make all windows transparent (or selected applications) using Terminal? I know you can make Terminal itself transparent but don't know about any others. Thanks
My hard drive must be getting really tired !!
I feel sorry for it.
Jason the energy saver option does nothing; just dims the screen then turns it off. That bit works OK. It span the hard drive down once after about 20/30 mins - I just watched it to see what would happen. It never sleeps...
